the royal plaza inn was great! it’s only 8 minutes from coachella, which was super convenient. the staff was friendly and very accommodating. my room was clean, and I loved the comfy beds. it’s also close to several restaurants, making meal options easy even if the on-site dining is closed.

Tissues ran out quickly because there were barely any in the room. Laundry cleanliness was questionable, and the linens felt worn. Tiny towels and uncomfortable bed frames added to the overall inconvenience, making restful sleep a challenge. Several rooms were reported to have cockroach sightings, which is a major turn-off for anyone looking for a hygienic stay. Come prepared for a night without heat because that's just how it is at this joint.
